I am not a fan of legislating how much revenue can be shared with the athletes. Should let the schools make that determination themselves

Just an fyi, creightons commitments to their transfers is pure NIL and not rev share. It’s why they got things signed and delivered pre Monday, in case it did go through and so they could get them the money prior to having the 1:1 exchange that NIL will be going forward

They had a handful of guys step up so that there wasn’t a rebuild and more of a reload for them. Will be interesting to see how it works. On paper they are going to be a high powered offense but defense will be suspect

I can’t remember who told me. But I had heard McDermott might be on his last 2-3 years and he might be off to retirement. If that’s true it makes sense as to why they’d load up.

That’s correct. Mac is not the kind of guy who wants to coach until he’s 70, he want to retire to his home in Phoenix and golf. I’d be willing to bet Huss is your next Pickle Smoochers coach. I’ve heard rumors that Huss may come back and be an assistant coach in waiting but haven’t been able to confirm it. My wife’s sister is very close to Katie his wife, I asked her and got nothing back so who knows if it’s true or not

It's still 105, just have some grace to get there.

Prudent to get there within a year so that it won't limit the number that can be brought in next cycle. I don't think that we want to delay very much, being flexible in the future could put a program in position to pick up some players that end up in a bind.

Well, right. But if there is grandfather and/or phasing, then the limit isn't 105 for this coming season.

Right, I'm just saying being to far over 105 could limit how many players are brought in the following year. I don't want to limit future incoming talent because we hung on to to much marginal talent right now.
