Callahan kiss of death?
last FridayHow long ago was that??
He's fast as hell on NCAA25. But his progression is always shit. We'll rue the day we let Barnes get away. Mark my words!
this past tunnel talk lolHow long ago was that??
We all need to come to grips that Warren just doesn’t really give a chit about Nebraska. He’s involved in national and international thingsAdditionally a lot of their money comes directly from Phil Knight, not as much from Nike the company
How good has he been this spring? We'll rue the day we let Barnes get away. Mark my words!
No clue. I was just joking around. I don't think we'll miss himHow good has he been this spring?

I don't disagree. i.e. it's definitely plausible. My hot take is Damon Benning is part of the problem not the solution with Omaha kids.
He has tight relations with a lot of schools and probably knows a lot of the kids one way or another.
Anytime an Omaha kid doesn’t get an offer, Nebraska offers late or leaves the state he tries to underscore an issue. He’ll try to open up wounds and pour salt into them to give him more power to speak on them for views.
Nebraska don't want him.
Is Emmett Johnson a glue guy in the locker room or is he a source of friction? Or is he neither? It feels like there is some sensitivity around pay in the RB room, and bringing in Brown at the price other schools are offering would upset the entire room. So, we could add Brown but we’d potentially lose Johnson and others. And I don’t think the staff rates Brown as an upgrade over EJ so ruining the room isn’t worth it.
We’re going to try and recruit him in a way that doesn’t piss everyone off.
I think it’s crazy that this continues to be the case here. The elite teams in college football find ways to stack their rooms with talent and players aren’t leaving like that. Does EJ think he’s getting 100% of the snaps? It feels like there is some sensitivity around pay in the RB room, and bringing in Brown at the price other schools are offering would upset the entire room. So, we could add Brown but we’d potentially lose Johnson and others. And I don’t think the staff rates Brown as an upgrade over EJ so ruining the room isn’t worth it.

Yes, it seems the staff doesn't think we need him and they aren't willing to allocate the resources necessary to get him. A similar view from a media member suggesting we should respect their judgement based on the track record:It feels like there is some sensitivity around pay in the RB room, and bringing in Brown at the price other schools are offering would upset the entire room.
