Why does it look like Overbeek has the mechanics of an 8th grader when he swings?

Because he spends time working on his RHH. He's way better from the left side & should focus solely on that. His L/R splits have to be horrendous.

Horn looked great today and I don’t know why they pulled him and didn’t let him go out for the 6th. They couldn’t touch him there for a few innings.

Jasa threw better than his box score showed. He got two very quick methodical outs, then a guy muscled a ball off his hands softly into left field. Next guy up he had 1-2 and he struck him out, if only the umpire would have seen it that way…. Then of course he threw over to first when nobody was covering and we had an issue on our hands.

Overbeek’s front shoulder is flying open and then to try and reach the outside pitch he’s casting the bat bad. It looks like an 8th grader who’s never been taught anything. It’s hard to watch and it’s no wonder he’s not hitting the ball hard.

Every first inning you can count on a Braumbaugh strikeout on like 4 pitches. It’s become a joke.

Pitching seems to have stabilized a bit (SSSSUUUUUUHHHUUUCCCKKKS we lost MM Full season and TT for a bit)… need the offense to get going now. No reason it should be a struggle to score more than 4 runs consistently. 3 out of last 4 maybe they are getting some momentum going though. Maybe we get into more of the OG BIG teams it will be a little easier?

my spidey sense tells me that the team has rallied and we can expect to win at least 35 games during the regular season before we march through the big 10 tournament and repeat

I hate hate hate unicolor uniforms for baseball that aren’t white or light grey. Anything else is a softball uniform.

Old school baby blues for teams that have those in their locker historically get a pass from me as well.
