Considering changing career paths at the ripe young age of 36.

What do you do and can I do it? Full disclosure, I'm greedy and like money. Does your career path have anything to do with your degree (if you have one)? I'm just mostly curious about what everyone does.

I worked in telecom/IT for 13 years and made a change about 3 years ago. Considering going back or making another change.

Sorry if this has been done, didn't feel like searching for it.

Oh she's a trip. Works with us, just on a different team. She seems more interested in producing Instagram material than actually working

I just realized I forgot to PM you about Morgan County's Judge aging out (turning 70, love that Missouri has a mandatory retirement age for judges) and the guy that will be the new Judge is my boy.

Now you got a get out of jail card (for anything below a D felony) on 2 of the counties you border

Are shenanigans at the Fantasy Ranch in Warrensburg covered under this offer?

But you can go home and smile because you made a difference in those kids lives that will last forever
My wife is a high school math teacher and I'm in the behavioral health field.

Whenever we hear from friends working in the private sector about their big bonuses or raises or big company gifts or office parties, our joke is always "Well, we're changing lives!"

i do drugs.

But one the real:
Its way to early for this but I am the guy who likes to research/plan for a few years down the road. Anyway, my wife will be more than likely going to a Medical residency out of state and my biggest worry is finding a job in the new location. I currently work quasi in sports law/compliance but also in government. I'd like to change directly into either college athletics or politics (athletics is higher priority). Anyway, like i side my biggest concern is finding a job (I may just bite the bullet and change fields) but does anyone have tips or advice for job searching in a different state? I want to get a job lined up before we move but she wouldnt find out where shes going until two months before her program would start.

Again this is at least two years down the road but I like to be prepared lol. The only good thing is most of the programs she would want to go for residency are in P5 college towns
