Big Ten Releases 2021 Baseball Schedule

The Nebraska baseball team will play a 44-game, conference-only schedule, as announced by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday, Feb. 17. With all 44 games counting as conference games, the Big Ten also announced that there will be no 2021 Big Ten Tournament, which Omaha was slated to host in May.

Can't have a conference tourney, but let's send Nebraska and Purdue to Texas in March to play each other and then Cockeye, OSU, and Nebraska to Minneapolis the following weekend. Nevermind that baseball is the only major sport in which opposing teams have virtually no risk of transmitting COVID.

Wish we’d known we were joining a basketball conference before we joined
