But it would be great to have a functional relationship there.
I appreciate the confirmation coming from an expert on this matter. That is a rather chubby group.

Do they have any good ones? They brought a healthy number of their players with them as well to watch practice. I want to say there were at least 8-10 players attending.

That’s been the rub - they’ve sent players to P5 schools all over and compete in the JC playoffs regularly and the most we had recruited was a walk on place kicker and a walk on lineman if I remember right in the last 11-13 years.Do they have any good ones?

We tried like hell a few years ago to get that stud DT Winfrey, but just lost out to OU. Can't really put that on anyone. But yes, overall, the point is a good one. It goes back to the Riley/Eichorst nonsense where we basically couldn't recruit JUCOs. Hell, it's not like Pelini did anything there either. It really seemed like Frost was going to change that, but nothing got off the ground. That’s been the rub - they’ve sent players to P5 schools all over and compete in the JC playoffs regularly and the most we had recruited was a walk on place kicker and a walk on lineman if I remember right in the last 11-13 years.
Was literally the first thing I thought. Some of those guys are appropriately called "beefy," but there's not a Colorado credit union worker in the bunch. That is a rather chubby group.
