The Bears will fuck up by drafting a kicker in the first round and sign a bunch of XFL players.
I heard this stat on a podcast and it just depressed me: the 49ers have gone to 5 NFC championship games with 4 different QBs since the Bear’s last NFC championship game appearance. (Not to mention won 2 of them in that stretch)
Made me wanna puke, especially the 4 different QBs part.
I can’t even use the weak division excuse either cuz the Seahawks and Rams have been literally amazing during that same stretch.

As good as Shanahan may be, I think Lynch is the key to their success. Best GM in football...and I hate the Niners...

You’re right. I thought about putting Lynch there too, but Shanahan’s run game principles are top notch and he can win with average qbs. He is one of the few difference makers head coach wise in the league. I also put Daboll there considering what happened to Allen and Jones this year. There are also some other coaches who stick out, but those two are up there.

Lynch and Veach are the two best GMs in the NFL. I think there is a sizeable drop-off from those two.

Bengals have one more year of not paying Burrow. Then they will have to pay Burrow and then the next year they will have to pay Chase... They have to pay Higgins this year or lose him. His value will be around 20 mil a year and they are paying him 4mil this year. Chase will be north of 25 mil a year and currently 9mil. They also have a historically cheap ownership group.
This was the first year of Allen on the bigger contract and they didn't have the depth.
You have to draft at an insane level once you start paying your QB. See the Chiefs....
You don't think Howie Roseman is up there? He completely remade the entire Eagles roster in 3 years, and their depth is ridiculous. They are a way deeper and more talented team than the Chiefs...and they obviously just spanked the 49ers yesterday.
