A new coach and optimism got me thinking about the last time I was actually excited about recruiting - 2017 Friday Night Lights.

Can we look back at some of the names that attended? I don’t care if they didn’t pan out but the pure star gazing that took place.

While looking into it, Ryan Clark was actually in attendance with his son.

It is really crazy to see where Parsons is now and think we actually had his ass on campus listening to Nebraskas recruiting pitch.

Every time I see him make a play in the NFL, all I can think of is the time he blew past Tutt. Just a freak athlete that put on a show that night
