To a certain extent. But it's not like he joined the team yesterday. He's been on staff for a year now and he's been the head man for the majority of the season. It's not like he hasn't had his share of influence on the team and he is (or should be) completely responsible for in-game decision making.

This there’s been a list of wtf decisions the past couple weeks.
And he clearly doesn’t do anything with offensive play calling. He’s just letting whip do whatever he wants.
