My knee popped when I hurt mine. I hurt it worse later and a lot of fluid formed (although mine hurt worse to the outside of the knee). I eventually needed surgery but I don’t think that’s always required

Knees can be tricky. It really depends on how far you were bent over as she was giving it to you.
