I assume the guys in the crew who weren't directly employed by the University probably had a more unqualified fun experience throughout all the debauchery, but what about the guys actually on the coaching staff, recruiting staff, or in North Stadium generally? Do you think it varied based on the person? I have to say listening to @Driveway Jordan talk about Dillon, it seems like it wouldn't be the worst way to spend four or so years of your life. For Frost, on the other hand, no matter how checked out we now can speculate he was, I'd still have to imagine he endured a decent amount of anguish that cut into the good times.

I'm just very curious what his day-to-day vibe would be like assuming he really was doing all the stuff it now seems he was.

I just have a hard time seeing Frost anguishing over Nebraska football with his dick in some chicks mouth on a boat somewhere.

In all seriousness, I did feel like his presser after the North Dakota game seemed genuine and he was emotional, or had been. You just wonder if he figured it'd work out until it was too late.

Even right after he blew his load? As this guy below says, those are the most honest moments in a man's life, and that's just a medical fact:

You think he busted a nut and then cried over how much he sucked?

Lol Nebraska invents new lows

Now it all makes sense why Dean refused to acknowledge any of the debauchery that was going on....he wanted to be included! He's like the school newspaper dork from high school that wanted to hang out with the jocks and go to their parties.

I tend to side with this...

Do I think some shit happened? Sure
Do I think it is to the level that is being rumored? Probably not

Either way he didn't work. A number of things lead to that to happen. The program needs a reset and cleansing. Bring in Urban.

I must have missed what @Driveway Jordan said, can I get cliffs?

I became concerned when early on I was told Greg Austin was not happy with what was referred to as The Busch Light Boys Club by a booster. Evidently Greg was miffed because he felt some coaches and Athletic Department employees were more concerned about partying than coaching. Then the stories started coming out about the "Hunting", "Fishing" & "Golf" trips to places like Valentine and other areas not around Lincoln. A couple boosters hinted that there were some serious shenanigans going on during some of those trips. I'm guessing women & booze with some of the big boosters or at their private places. I have relatives that have seen some of the coaches partying it up at the golf resort The Prairie Club in Valentine with boosters and some hood rats. I'm wondering if that isn't the rumored secret party place of the coaches that was mentioned by a few people. Heard hints of lots of debauchery going on out at Valentine. And there have been so many other stories which a majority could be rumors but the bottom line is even if 10% of them are true then you knew he wasn't dedicated to football or his family.

And this keeps leading me back to the question of why wasn't Scott more worried about spending time with his family? Coaching football is long hours and he never seemed to mention wanting to spend more time with family but did come out saying that he wished he had more time for Hunting & Fishing in an interview.

The biggest issue I have is if he was lazy and not putting in the work. I don’t care about the other shit. From the sounds of it he wasn’t all in working wise.

What‘s funny is he could have forever satisfied his love of hunting, golf, fishing, drinking and sluts at Central Florida. Would have had a longer leash there and much better options for his hobbies than Valentine, NE.

Long story short, I have a mutual acquaintance with the Dillon’s. This person is around them a lot due to his gf, but not a fan of them. They like to run their mouths when they’ve had too much to drink and make some pretty ridiculous statements, like, for example, the Ireland game being moved to Vegas.

Frost did bring Sean Dillon here from UCF, put him in charge of recruiting operations, and Sean took the liberty of hiring his brother, who had no experience in college athletics. They had no oversight (Garrod was technically their boss) and like many others on staff, they didnt work a very taxing schedule.

When Vince G. was hired earlier this year, they finally had a boss who would hold them accountable. They didn’t see it that way (“it’s a lot more disorganized now”). Now it sounds like they might be done, but based on what I hear about their job duties, it will be no loss to the program whatsoever.
