Frost In-Game Win Probability

But also keep in mind folks that if Frost doesn't piss these absolute gimmes down his leg, he still has a 22-23 overall record
That's a hell of a lot better than 15-30. You could grab a guy off the street and statistically expect to go 6-1 in these games. We find ways to lose. You could see it in the body language of the team going into the locker room at half after giving up the first 11 point lead. We got a couple breaks in the second half, managed to build that lead again and boom.... Jackassery. No lead is safe with Frosty.

When NU was even up by 2 scores, was anyone thinking we were 88% likely to win? This is a Scott Frost coached team. Them shitting the bed is not a bug but a feature.

Looking at that entire list of games I can tell you that I was never comfortable with a lead despite the high probability.

There needs to be a Scott Frost factor put in the algorithm. Subtract 50 percent from what it should be normally.

we got the announcer's kiss of death at that same time when they talked about Frost's record when scoring 35+ points. it was immediately followed by 24 scoreless minutes to close out the game

NW 2018 was a damn near impossible loss. Literally nobody and no team could have lost that game but Frost and Nebraska.
That is an all-time Husker bad loss.

Just when I think I can’t get any lower. Thanks for being a jackass OP and helping me pour yet another bourbon.

every so often a game happens in Husker lore where we have no business losing to an inferior opponent but through some fuckery we do. Talking 1993 Cockeye State, 2009 Cockeye State, etc.

Corch Scote produces 4 or 5 of these games every season, losses that in more normal times would be so abnormal that we'd be talking about them for years to come.
