It seems like with Mickey they are giving him the higher end local prospects to recruit plus St Louis and Louisiana. That strategy has helped locally. We’ll see if he can slowly turn St Louis. We don’t have to get everyone from there. But getting shut out for all of them over the past 10 years it seems is pretty unacceptable.

For sure. I think it's a mistake to write off talented players in general honestly. Will Levis at Kentucky is a great example. Dude could not beat out very average competition to start and didn't look great in any game action at PSU. Now is being talked about as a potential 1-3 round NFL guy.

I liken some of this transfer portal stuff to baseball. Hear me out on it…

There are going to be some guys that didn’t work out where they were; they decided to transfer and they come out of nowhere and kill it. That doesn’t mean that those players would have ever figured it out at their previous school and I don’t think it has much to do with that school to be honest. I think it means more about the place they transferred to, the fit, and the overall situation.
