Finally a hard hitting question. Cam Taylor Britt kinda dodged it but he asked if there was any insight as to all of the Freshman leaving. Most of the other questions by the Media where lobbed in Softballs. Wonder if any of them will have the Nut Sack to call Frost out on stuff today.

Boy ole Dean sure isn't interested in asking any hard hitting questions. Is he that afraid of the Wrath of Frost? We should create a rating system for the media and grade them after each press conference based on the questions they ask, like they grade the team after a game. It is embarrassing how mundane these questions are. Have any of these reporters even played football? Or any other sport?

I dont even watch them anymore. This grading system would make it interesting again.

this is brutal, forgot how bad the reporters were with their questions. We should be allowed to hook up Shock Collars to the reporters and when they ask a stupid question we should be able to shock them. At least it would make the Press Conferences interesting

What softball did deabers throw up?

His first question to Adrian Martinez: "Hey Adrian, what are we going to learn about this team over the month of December? Culture....."

It is like a bag full of Potatoes. Are the reporters that afraid of Frost or are they just destined to be mediocre their entire careers

I like that this got asked, but seems a weird question for CTB to get asked.

It's incredible...and It's not like he has a bevy of questions to ask, he gets about one...I wonder if he just dreams these up the night before or has gotten so lazy he just wings it and this is the result.

@HuskerGarrett I think it is time we get our own reporter on these Press Conferences to ask the real hard hitting Questions. We could come up with some Doozies and put some life into those Press Conferences.

-"Scott, do you consider arrogance to be a good quality?"
-"Coach Frost, how many years before you get frustrated that your starting Center kills drives because he can't snap the ball?"
-"Coach, why do we have the highest roster turnover percentage of any Power5 team?"
-"Scott, after watching coaches at other schools turn things around in 1 to 2 years how do you feel about still regressing in Year 3?"

Seems like that a question to ask the head coach not a player

Dean just hit a Home Run. He asked Frost about the status of Flemming. Frost said he is no longer with the program. Dean gets a Gold Star. Even a Blind Squirrel finds an Acorn every now and then
I am glad he asked, but that question 100% needs a follow up.
“is it concerning that such a large chunk of the 2020 class has already defected so early into their time at NU, and what takeaways do you have from this?”

Actually they are asking Scott some tougher questions.
-5 players leaving, evaluating players.....

Frost looks like a beat dog right now. He is still going with some culture, Covid, tough love, need more time....

Finally said he needs to be recruiting the right kids instead of the right athletes. But still leaning heavily on Covid limiting crowds, things for players to do off the field, kids not being patient........

Is Frost some behind the scenes A-hole? You'd think he was Pelini or something by the way people tip-toe around him. It can't be THAT much about losing access can it?

gotta say the questions have been a little more hard hitting than on previous previous conferences. Maybe a couple tough questions being asked has gotten the reporters to be a tad bit braver, heard mentality. Frost has at least answered some of the questions without excuses but he still has more excuses than any coach we have ever had

I'd be willing to contact UNL to try to get a press pass if we have someone local that would be willing to go to the press conferences
