Mostly serious question. What is the worst play call of the year in Division 1 football? That's how awful a call that was on the pick in the red zone.

that pass in the Maryland game was pretty bad

For me, the play call was the cherry on top of that first and goal sequence. First play: incomplete. Clock stops and they don't have to use a time out. If the pass on 3rd down is incomplete-same thing. All this talk about situational and complimentary football and that is what was put out there? Good Lord. We'd have had the lead, momentum and they would have way less time or one time out at most. They'd have been totally one dimensional on the final drive.

Even still, Miami's was worse.

The Miami call on its own was worse, but my vote still goes to Shitterfield.

When viewed in the full context of the game (and the entire season) it’s simply unbelievable how this guy seems have learned absolutely nothing about his team after 9 games.

You're a smart person. You should change yore name, to poor and smart...b/c that's the exact reason I posed this poll...

I think the first down is a called run but he throws it away to avoid a loss of yards.

I don’t believe it. It was a read play. I’d have to see the clip again. But the QB isn’t just going to ad lib and keep it on a called run IMO.

Rhule stated it was a read option that got blown up and Purdy threw it away rather than take the loss.

Ok. So. What’s with people saying it was an ISO? Or they just trying to blame purdy for their stupidity?

I get the point of the question but Miami had the game won. It’s really not close, even as bad as Satt’s play call was.
