Bitch about Frost and his staff leaving the team weak and unathletic? Because we sure look slow and weak.

Depends if he thinks he can win in year 1. If he doesn't he'll blame Frost.or will he act like a mature adult complimenting the pieces that are currently in place while mentioning he looks forward to coaching them.
Besides Frost what coaches have we heard blame the previous coach? It is really no different than taking over running a company. You don't go in and bash everything. I've got a little experience with this. You go in and compliment the company and employees. Mention how you are excited to work with everyone and honored to have the job. Good leaders motivate their employees to excel, and they also give them the support and tools to succeed.Depends if he thinks he can win in year 1. If he doesn't he'll blame Frost.
I remember Urb saying you never blame the old coaches or talent publicly because when you get there they are your players now.Urban has already addressed this, just listen to is podcasts about culture and leadership
I’ve heard some make remarks about talent, but seriously how many times did Frost shit on Riley? He even did it one time last year.Besides Frost what coaches have we heard blame the previous coach? One YUUUUUGE benefit Frost has had and our next coach will have is the Transfer Portal and flipping the roster. You can retool a team in basically 1 season where previously it was 2-3 years to get the players you needed for your system. If we bring in a big name coach we would have little problem getting some upgrades in talent for our roster from the Portal. Urban Meyer would be a coach who could really appeal to top level transfers. ON the field he would be a home run hireIf it’s coach urbs I would imagine he would cut half of the roster and take on a load of transfers and flip the roster within 2 years.
The new coach is probably safe to cut every scholarship player on the DL and all the TEs who didn't play this weekend since they're not even good enough to play against North DakotaOne YUUUUUGE benefit Frost has had and our next coach will have is the Transfer Portal and flipping the roster. Case by case. If the company is in trouble because the employees suck I'm going to say the old way clearly wasn't working and we're going to need to change. If the company is in good shape then I'd say what you said.Besides Frost what coaches have we heard blame the previous coach? It is really no different than taking over running a company. I think the next head coach in 2023 is probably going to skip the recruiting/development critiques, just bc of who Frost is.Bitch about Frost and his staff leaving the team weak and unathletic? Because we sure look slow and weak.
A new CEO was hired to take over a struggling company. The CEO who was stepping down met with him privately and presented him with three numbered envelopes. “Open these if you run into serious trouble,” he said.
Well, three months later sales and profits were still way down and the new CEO was catching a lot of heat. He began to panic but then he remembered the envelopes. He went to his drawer and took out the first envelope. The message read, “Blame your predecessor.” The new CEO called a press conference and explained that the previous CEO had left him with a real mess and it was taking a bit longer to clean it up than expected, but everything was on the right track. Satisfied with his comments, the press – and Wall Street – responded positively.
Another quarter went by and the company continued to struggle. Having learned from his previous experience, the CEO quickly opened the second envelope. The message read, “Reorganize.” So he fired key people, consolidated divisions and cut costs everywhere he could. This he did and Wall Street, and the press, applauded his efforts.
Three months passed and the company was still short on sales and profits. The CEO would have to figure out how to get through another tough earnings call. The CEO went to his office, closed the door and opened the third envelope. The message said, “Prepare three envelopes.”
I think it’s linked to every player immediately being put on a pedestal. The big ten west basically has every team with a 2-3 star, chip on your shoulder mentality & willing to go to another level cuz they got nothing to lose & they believe it’s necessary to overcome their own weaknesses. Our guys just fold the moment these “inferior” players exploit em.I think the next head coach in 2023 is probably going to skip the recruiting/development critiques, just bc of who Frost is.
But I'm more curious to see if new HC chimes in on the mindfuck that's gone on with our players since 2012. Complete "shit my pants" mentality at every high pressure moment. Panini couldn't turn that around, Riley couldn't, Frost has made it worse. I'll be interested to see if new HC has a comment on it. It may be that the best thing to do is just pretend none of the ever happened. Of course our media won't let him get away w that.
POTWA joke a former boss of mine told me. (He didn’t invent it obviously)…
It appears frost just keeps reopening the first envelope.
