Why do I have a feeling that Northwestern might take a run for Luke or this cat from Penn State. It seems like their past few QB's have been able to run and semi accurate. I could be totally wrong.

Agreed. Would be silly to. What if Smothers proves he can be a guy at QB this spring? Then you don’t take a flyer on a transfer and can use it on an OLB or another need. Or heaven forbid you get a serious injury this spring and need to find a transfer at another position.

Maybe NW does, but it seems like they would a good fit for their offense. TBH, I really haven't followed huskers recruiting or recruiting in general since Riley left.
