Who will throw the pass to AC on Black 41 Flash Reverse?

During the off-season slumber we can ponder on what will happen once the season hits. Rhule’s current rep is really suffering! He’s always seemed to pull some dramatic play out of his ass that represents the “old days”, just to appease the Husker Nation. Maybe he’ll try Black 41 Flash Reverse? My guess is Barney throws the bomb to AC against ND. Husker Nation goes nuts, and Rhule is beloved for a week, then goes 1-4 in his next 5. It hurts to be like this, but logic and past performance is hard to argue against. GBR and Happy Easter!

Never cared for that play, always liked the Fumblerooski better.
 
I'd love to see some Tommy Armstrong style offense outta AC. First read isn't there? No big deal, do a shoulder tuck and roll outta the pocket, maybe scramble for 10-30, maybe hit an open receiver 15-25 yards down field, maybe yolo that son of a bitch 50 yards for a TD or an arm punt.

A lot people bitched about Tommy and his yolo bombs, but I don’t think we’ve had better QB since TA. In fact, I had some more time to think about it as typed this and I’m 100% sure we haven’t had a better QB.

Well not totally sucking at the short passing game would be nice too, but yeah if you can play defense 100%.

He caught a lot of hell, I suppose some of it was warranted. I'd take him in a heartbeat over everything else we've had at QB in the 10 years since.

Yeah, Barney makes sense since he played QB in high school.
Maybe the play would be called Black 40 Flash reverse through since Barney is right handed and we’d be running it to the right, unlike the original.

That is still the best play I've seen in person. The Colorado game with Suh and the field goal are right up there, but weren't we (NE & OK) #1 and #2 at the time or something close to that?

I was in south endzone. Pretty sure that was peak excitement level for me in my lifetime. Kids birth were right behind.
