Who is the best athlete of the 21st century and who is the most influential?

Best: I'm going with Michael Phelps. 23 olympic gold medals, 28 total, won 8 in a single Olympics. He was absolutely dominant. Usian Bolt is an option and so is Novak Djokovic. Maybe Tiger.

Most influential: I was gonna go with Kobe but I think Tiger Woods is the correct answer.

Not sure about athlete, but Doom, the best Dodgeball team of the west region, has to be up there. They had an incredible year, winning 2 National Championships which included their second consecutive title in Open, their first in No Sting, and finished second in Coed 8.5.

Oh yeah, they also won their 5th Ultimate Dodgeball Championship in 6 years. They swept their series in Open, and with their entire team coming back, and with 3 of the top 5 players in all of Dodgeball (Justin Payan, Nate Kreiter, and Vince Marchbanks), they look to prove once again, that they are without a doubt, the greatest Dodgeball team on the planet.

If we take the question to mean competed in the 21st century for most of their career.

Steph Curry for influential

Aaron Donald for best athlete.

Phelps as most dominant/accomplished. I see an argument for Brady though

I think you could argue that even now, Jordan is still the most influential. Tom Brady might have played for Michigan, but it ain't his logo that's on their football jerseys!

That's just because nobody else is getting that type of deal again. Best move MJ ever made.

Was thinking Curry too. Completely changed the way an entire sport plays the game.
