We could go down that list and basically assign a Husker coach from the past 20 years to each of them
FTR-Rick Moranis nice guy attitude would be Riley, Winkler would be Frost-at least before Winkler got his play calling mojo back.

Callahan would be Hackman, grizzled grumpy veteran coach
Pelini would be the Saving Silverman Coach cuz of hard headedness plus anger issues
Guess Solich would be Goldie Hawn, cuz neither one of them were qualified to be a Head Coach

I might be able to add more. Does he know how to coach football? Guess that doesn't matter because our current staff doesn't know how to coach football anyways.

He has more qualifications than anyone on the Frost staff.

My concern with Hackman is that if we bring him in will he also go after Hoiberg's coaching job? No doubting the man's history of success as a coach of under dog teams. He kinda has that Pelini/Frost grumpiness in press conferences too

Thats an excellent point. He may demand to coach both football and basketball and while that may be more cost effective I'm not ready to give up on Hoiberg.
