2) a football coach who will tell the AD to get fucked when they try to meddle in the football program

3) said coach to be in the top 50% of P5 coaches in development and on game day.

The rest will take care of itself. We have the NIL money to bring in the talent to be successful (regularly win the division, occasionally win a conference title) if we have those three things.

Turd I feel is playing chess. Boosters threatened to pull money for the facilities and then he outted them by saying that statistically this wasn't gonna work. Aka you get what you pay for boosters.

He gave them this bone but when it comes to this hire this season (most likely), than I feel he says pony up the money this is my coach.

Could be wrong but I get the sense he didn't want to come in tearing down walls (this case the boosters) like Frost has nearly every season alienating atleast some faction of husker nation.
