What is the Nebraska game day experience like?

Or it could be we have a crap team playing another crap team after losing for 6 years strait. I don’t know, maybe that part is just me.

I was there today on the 49 yard line and it was meh. It was fine. Watched the first half and then enjoyed heavy pours at the Champions Club. Some fine action there today.

The biggest factor in the gameday experience is a team that doesn't suck donkey dick

Most of the people in the stands are olds. Young people don’t have the interest to go to games because they’ve never known what it’s like to have a good team and would rather just get shit faced

There are a lot of valid complaints about the game-day experience in Memorial, but honestly the worst part is that the athletic department continually charges us an arm & a leg to attend a game while putting a dogshit product on the field for the last 7 seasons.

Atmosphere is always a down when it’s a no-name school the fan base feels no threat from (Even though we’ve lost more than our share of those recently.)

That’s been the case no matter what year it is. So far those are the only kind of games we’ve had at home this year.

It’s a nothingburger, IMO.

Meh, Compared to whom? It’s LA Tech.

Night Games - Always dope. One of the best atmospheres in college football. Haters get out

230 games - Good if you have a competent opponent. Otherwise can be lackluster.

11 Am games - Should be banned. Almost always terrible

This comes with the caveat that Nebraska isnt getting their asses kicked. Pregame night games and 230 games are always legit. 11 AM games again, should be outlawed.

I'm not sure I agree with this thought. I went with my son last week and he's 24.

He turned to me and said - "dad, there's a lot of younger people in the stands". I think that surprised him. It certainly made me think about comments that I see like this on message boards. I obviously don't have the data, but there were a TON of high school aged people littered throughout our area of the stadium.

I'm halfway up in SW stadium.

Agreed it could be better. I still enjoy going to the games, though.

Tunnel walk is now awkwardly long and doesn’t bring as much juice as it used to. Irish jig can go straight to the garbage bin. And if they want to keep students there throughout the entirety of the game… they need to not be stuck in the worst stadium, the team could win, aaaaand they could use beer and/or alcohol inside the stadium.

I know we’re also a bunch of traditionalists here, but I wouldn’t hate to see the AD come with the times and place shirts on the seats so we can have a coordinated blackout, etc.
