I did the emotional hedge nearly every week of the frost era, and last year. Only done it once this year, against Purdue

UCLA is not a good football team. Even the local sports writers here have punted on them. They almost lost to Hawaii. Hawaii! They have a coach with zero head coaching experience but he brags about his inspirational pep talks. Chip Kelly couldn't make them a winner so don't hold your breath on DeShaun Foster who is literal lee learning by doing.

I can't imagine any scenario where the Huskers don't come away with a big win and my Kool-Aid drinking days are long past to put it into perspective.

Hmm. Maybe you shouldn’t let current players pick the next head coach. They couldn’t be much worse if a bunch of pouty players had transferred out because their buddy coach wasn’t hired.

Agreed. I think it would be huge relief to the team just to get bowl eligibility. Maybe after that they can play more loose and not so uptight.
