Better than our other all conference LB?Feels like I haven’t seen enough discussion on how great it was to see Javin Wright back on the field against Purdoodoo. Hope he can keep playing more and more. Guy is our best LB when healthy.

That’s why you moved down there. For the traffic and 115 degree relentless weatherWe’re sending the shit we’re having in Phoenix right now to the rest of the country. Was wonderful weather for a couple of weeks and then horrible heat wave hit. Summer all over again
He’s not good but he is a far better thrower of the football than Haarburg or Deacon Hill. You know how I used to go deep down a statistical rabbit hole for a lot of past Husker games and things that I pointed out always seemed to work the opposite when Scott Frost was coaching? Well, I still don't think I was wrong about any of that shit. I think Frost was just a fucking mess.
On that note, I found something really interesting about the Buttgers Passing game:
Athan Kalikamanis, that crazy greek bastard, has 59 completions on the season. 13 of those 59 completions came in the 2nd half of games vs. Howard and Akron. He also has 7 TD passes. 4 of those TD passes also came in the 2nd half of those games. Buttgers still had their 1st string offense in the game throwing the football with 3 minutes left vs. Fucking HOWARD. To put this into perspective, Sagarin ranks Akron and Howard as dramatically WORSE teams than UTEP. As we all know, UTEP is DOG SHIT. Nebraska couldve scored 70 on that sorry lot.
But this point isn't really about which team played the bigger pieces of shit opponent. Its really about the Buttgers passing game.
That kid has only thrown 1 TD pass the last two weeks.
I think Nebraska is going to force this kid to throw the football in 20 mph winds, and I'm not sure he can, even in in good conditions.
Now if Scott Frost was around, you could absolutely expect him to go off for 270 and 4 TDs. Just key on that running game, and play Buttgers like teams played Haarberg or Cockeye last season. If its 3rd and 7, keep 8 in the box.
He has been complete and utter dogshit up until this yearYou know how I used to go deep down a statistical rabbit hole for a lot of past Husker games and things that I pointed out always seemed to work the opposite when Scott Frost was coaching? Big Ten podcast & blogosphere has this thing where they take retread QBs and pump them up like they're All-star All-American QBs. It's so weird. He has been complete and utter dogshit up until this year
When he’s fully healthy, yes.Better than our other all conference LB?
I’m not sure what this signifies in relation to this thread, but I am in 100% agreement.
Not just Kalikamanis, I have not been impressed by their WRs either. The Rutgers passing game is just not good. You know how I used to go deep down a statistical rabbit hole for a lot of past Husker games and things that I pointed out always seemed to work the opposite when Scott Frost was coaching? Bullock is our best LB, I like Wright in coverage and Gbayor against the rush.Feels like I haven’t seen enough discussion on how great it was to see Javin Wright back on the field against Purdoodoo. Hope he can keep playing more and more. Guy is our best LB when healthy.
