However, Cinci had that advantage - loses the possession battle 2:1, only goes 3/10 on 3rd down, and doesn’t have a 100 yard rusher?

DCJoBu deserves more credit than he’s getting for that Cinci game.

We’re definitely going to get burned a few times with how reliant we’ll be on safeties in run support but our offense is going to burn teams on mismatches too. We’re a good team, not a dominant team.

I think Butler is really really good at confusing QBs and Underwood is very susceptible to being confused (as any normal freshman would be). I don't care if Biff's Butthole Surfers runs for 6 a pop as long as we're putting them 3rd and 5-8 at least once a drive.

Biff's Butthole Surfers is pretty much a poor/bad passing team. We likely can afford to put more guys in the box more often against Biff's Butthole Surfers.

This is where I'm at. Quite frankly I think we see more from the defense, schematically, than what we've seen so far in the first 3 games, and that's been the plan the whole time. Probably should have gotten a replacement for Nash or Ty in the portal in the offseason, but it took Ty and Nash 4 years to be what they were. Van Poppel aint gonna do that in a year or two. Cheers to Butler earning his contract on Saturday afternoon.
