I can see the allure of blitzing, though. He was under pressure, and blitzing with bigger/faster/more athletic guys could easily get home in time. That said, if you don’t have to in order to get pressure, then you don’t do it very often this week. It'll be interesting to see what we do.
Wonder if it's a lot of drop-7/8 or if we blitz like crazy. Just think Sanders takes advantage of blitzing at a lethal clip.
His stats while blitzed last week are insane. If I remember correctly he was like 6/8 for 160+ and 3 TDs. Fucking dumb.
That's my feeling. Whoever blitzes is hopefully not coming from the secondary and you wouldn't think they'd need to.I can see the allure of blitzing, though. In fairness, most of that was against much less athletic players and nearly blindly chucking it up for Travis Hunter to make a play over a much less athletic player. It'll be interesting to see what we do.

I get that, we'll obviously be a better matchup physically. I just feels like that Sanders/Hunter/Horn combo allows them to survive those broken plays more often than not.In fairness, most of that was against much less athletic players and nearly blindly chucking it up for Travis Hunter to make a play over a much less athletic player.
That being said, I'd love to just keep on getting home with only 3 or 4 guys.
Exactly. It's not like Cockeye needed to blitz either.Kind of a hilarious chart.
Nebraska didn't need to blitz...but to not even blitz once is pretty funny.
I wouldn’t wish that on White.. Not sure the admin would give him enough time to get that cultural nightmare turned aroundThis is the game that get Tony white the Florida job next year
It does allow for that. I'm banking on guys like Hill to be able to mitigate that.I get that, we'll obviously be a better matchup physically. I just feels like that Sanders/Hunter/Horn combo allows them to survive those broken plays more often than not.
@Jim14510 can you see Sanders' stats under pressure on PFF?
True. They probably think they are too high and mighty to hire a lowly D-coordinator as wellI wouldn’t wish that on White.. Not sure the admin would give him enough time to get that cultural nightmare turned around

I have a hard time believe PFF didn't mess this up, but even if they did and missed a couple. Pretty obvious. Tony White wasn't putting shit on film for Prime Fluffs. Good on them. IMO, it was the same on O.Kind of a hilarious chart.

I'd argue that's kind of the general idea. If you blitz but don't get pressure, all you're doing is putting less guys in coverage, thus making it easier to get guys open. Now, you just got to have someone that's not Jeff Sims that can get them the ball.
Not good when pressured but above average (I'd imagine) when blitzed.
Blitzes have to get home and at least get in his face.
No, you're absolutely right. I guess the only point I'm trying to make is that I feel like Sanders operates against the blitz at a higher efficiency than most QBs.I'd argue that's kind of the general idea. (Not trying to argue you in general, you've just presented good counter discussions.)
