Lost to Illinois last year....whole point about the "easier" schedule....nope.

Bud Elliott Team Talent Composite

According to recruiting rankings Nebraska is #24.

So embarrassing

We've had more talent or at least equal to almost every team we have played under Frost outside of Michigan, Penn St & Ohio St. The numbers don't lie. We should be at least 30-15 instead of 15-30.

Ultimately I agree but that's a hard thing to measure. If you look at players in the NFL the only B1G team that has less is Northwestern. Numbers aren't a lot different for the middle of the pack though and there's development in that equation.

This is they type of metric that actually emboldens the Frost Davidians.

"Frost is bringing in talent!"
"We're better than Cockeyes and Wisconsin!"
And they’d be right. We’re better than both of them in everything other than what it takes to get a W.

I bet a a lot of coin on Penn State tonight for this very reason. If Purdue wins or even covers tonight, then James Franklin cements himself as the 2nd Worst coach in the Big Ten.
