Nicklin getting another year and moving to DS took up a scholarship that was probably supposed to go to Akana (Hames is every bit the defender and can also set if Orr isn't healthy). Akana has actually been a walkon the last 2 years IIRC.

additionally shes absolutely good enough to push for the libero spot at a top 25 type program, but it wasn't happening here because Lexi will arguably be the best L in the country the next 3 years. We just have an embarrassment of riches at DS/L and she was the odd one out.
