So I have a ‘17 Toyota 4Runner with 60k miles that I bought new for 47k. It’s trade value is 40k currently and I could spend about 12k out of pocket for a brand new SUV with zero miles.

I think my trade in value will take a big hit by then. This is also my wife’s vehicle. She’s wanting a Kia Telluride SX. Has a LOT more luxury bells and whistles than 4runner.

My dad told me the other day trucks weren’t moving like they were on the auction. I would assume the same would go for gas guzzling suvs sooner than later with the gas prices. Im guessing the trade in value won’t get much better than it is now.
