Until we figure out the setting problem, we won't finish the season like we want to. They don't set the middle near enough. Let alone run a middle slide.
Yes, serving is an issue, but was better tonight.
Our defense will keep us in every match. Got to get a damn setter!

Even IF you were successfully able to woo Kelly, it would be a very expensive dalliance (roughly 1/2 of everything you own plus child support). And what would Kelly be getting in her new beau? Someone who cheats on his wife.

Agreed. She runs the offense better, though she remains a defensive liability when she’s in the front line rotation. If I were the opposing setter, I’d put a ball over her 25 times a game and dare her to block my pin hitter. Easy points, IMO.

Fully agree but she can make our offense so much better. It's so much give and take. Obvious that it's such a dilemma that Cook is still working on it this deep into the season.
Nicklin has been out for 3 matches now because of injury. What happens when she comes back?
Offense is honestly stagnant right now. We don't set the middle or even attempt a slide anymore.
I'll be interested in seeing what happens around the 3rd match that Nicklin is healthy. At that point, Cook will have a decision made on the direction of hit team for the remainder of the year.

I hate to give up on her already, but IMO Kennedi Orr ain’t getting ‘er done. She has some great defensive moments, but she’s inconsistent AF on her setting height, location & distribution. I was honestly expecting a LOT more out of the #1 recruit in the nation. I’d love to put Nicklin’s brain in Orr’s body.
