Hadn't seen this posted, but was certain the Husker faithful would be happy to see one of our own have an opportunity.
OAHAAH Even though he went to Stanford (ETHWTS)

good for that sonofabitch, i know with all the $ he pillaged Lincoln for, id be laying spread eagle like Reed beatin off on the beaches instead of getting back to corchin’ so soon but FUCCKKK it hit me hard my butt is a fire hydrant rite now UHHHH!! whew fuck me, at 99 years old it never gets old toot

I'll be surprised if they seriously consider him. If his heart wasn't into coaching while at Nebraska why do you think he would all of the sudden find the motivation to be dedicated to coaching football over other outside distractions. Plenty of golf courses, fishing and beer cart girls in that area of Florida so that does fit in his daily coaching regiment.

Ultimately I think Scott needs to look inside himself to see if he wants to put in the effort and dedication needed to be a successful college football coach.

Who the hell knows, clearly his heart and motivation were in it when he was at UCF, seems like being at NU brought out the worst in him by far.

He won’t be dealing with The Curse™ so he will suddenly be able to coach again.

Or did he benefit from inheriting a very talented team plus finding a Diamond in the Rough generational QB in Milton? George O'leery was a heck of a recruiter and left him a bunch of NFL talent on that roster. Even during that magical year he had a very undisciplined team on the field that got by on athleticism and amazing QB play.
