Sign Up Now!signing with 1890 doesn't mean a thing. They just keep paying you till you transfer, and then the agreement terminates. The next place will pay from that point onTy just signed with 1890, IIRC. Guess he could've found a better deal elsewhere.
It's always been true for him, correct? He has known for a long time he wouldn't ever play here.Probably wants to play football at some point in his college football career
Lots of guys like to "bet on themselves" and end up out achieving whatever people thought, but often that bet ends up like this. It's always been true for him, correct? He has known for a long time he wouldn't ever play here.
I am not saying Truitt leaving will cause Ty to leave. Quite the opposite. If Ty had decided to grad transfer, it would likely cause Truitt to enter the portal. The only reason he has likely stayed here is to be on the team with his brother. He might as well go someone else rather than ride the bench if his brother won't be here.
That is my concern. Why would Truitt leave now, right before Ty is likely to graduate? Why didn't he leave before?
It can't be as straight as you have to play for Nebraska. Can it? My understanding was it can't be restrictive with what college you go to.signing with 1890 doesn't mean a thing. It pretty much is. The contracts are set up so that if you can no longer perform on your end, the contract terminates; it isn't tied to playing for the school directly. It can't be as straight as you have to play for Nebraska. Can it? My understanding was it can't be restrictive with what college you go to.
But if you can't say play for Nebraska how do you say play for Nebraska? It pretty much is. The contracts are set up so that if you can no longer perform on your end, the contract terminates; it isn't tied to playing for the school directly.
Short contracts that expire and aren't renewed. It isn't saying you have to play for Nebraska, you just don't offer the player a renewal after they don'tBut if you can't say play for Nebraska how do you say play for Nebraska?
He not only was unranked coming out of high school, neither Rivals nor 247 even had a profile for him. He isn't in their databases. No one recruited him. The Arizona Central said the reason he got to come was that he reached out to Frost because he knew him and asked if he could.Lots of guys like to "bet on themselves" and end up out achieving whatever people thought, but often that bet ends up like this.
Truitt has only been here two seasons so he's got quite a bit of college football ahead of him if he gets out now and goes somewhere more on his level at a player.
isn't it set up so that they have to do things locally? But if you can't say play for Nebraska how do you say play for Nebraska?
Well that makes sense.Short contracts that expire and aren't renewed. It isn't saying you have to play for Nebraska, you just don't offer the player a renewal after they don't
But if you can't say play for Nebraska how do you say play for Nebraska?
I dunno. That wouldn't help with people not playing. The short term makes the most sense.isn't it set up so that they have to do things locally?
Point was transferring itself wouldn't cancel the contract. Even if the contract is 6 months they could turn around and portal tomorrow and still get paid for 6 months I would bet. Even if you had to make local appearances you could probably fly there and back and it would be worth it.Signing with 1890 DOES NOT keep players from entering the portal

Ok.He not only was unranked coming out of high school, neither Rivals nor 247 even had a profile for him. He isn't in their databases. No one recruited him. The Arizona Central said the reason he got to come was that he reached out to Frost because he knew him and asked if he could.
He never could have believed he'd play here. And he didn't forego another opportunity to try to play here, so he didn't bet on himself.
Incorrect - if he transfers it terminates.Point was transferring itself wouldn't cancel the contract. Even if the contract is 6 months they could turn around and portal tomorrow and still get paid for 6 months I would bet. Even if you had to make local appearances you could probably fly there and back and it would be worth it.
