Hey All,

I just wanted to gauge interest and see if this is something everyone would be interested in. I’ve been working with a Xenforo add on developer for awhile now on this and he’s close to getting a beta version out, but it would basically be a recruiting portal similar to 247s and Rivals, where we could track recruits and also rate them ourselves. Is this something that would add to the experience here or not worth it?

We can have a potential NIL rating. 5* = $1M club, 4* = $100K plus, 3* = new car rating, 2* = lunch pass, and 1* = be glad you were offered a scholarship.

Normal star rating then star rating if they were the opposite gender and played soccer

If it’s something where we could simply track certain recruits and create somewhat of a crowdsourced hotboard it might be manageable.

I envision something like this, tell me if I’m off base:

1. Use 247 composite ranking
2. Emphasize recruits with known offers and instate/500 mile radius guys.
3. Link some sort of crowdsourced scouting report to recruits if there is the interest/ability? Include verified camp 40 times etc. (this is something rivals and 247 are laughably bad at.
4. Include a social media stream for said recruits where relevant tweets are easy to access or even readily available on each recruits page.
5. Give it a neat name that includes at least one sexual innuendo.

Sounds pretty cool to me.

Yeah that sounds like exactly what I was thinking, and no I don’t think it’ll be too expensive. There’s a few websites talking to the same developer, including TalkNDawgs
