Time to Drink the Kool-Aid Again

Young Dean has us starting 5-0...

I have my hopes.

And that stems from:

  1. No Raiola taking forever to make decisions on where and when to throw it.
  2. Geep Wade - I'm excited about our offensive line
  3. Aurich - Can't be worse than what we saw last year.

These are legit reasons for optimism.

6 wins seems possible.

You know… I’ve probably said that 30 or 40 times in the last 15-20 years. At some point it has to be us, right?

I think it’s been us for the last 15-20 years.

Oh. Wait. You meant on the other side of the equation. The one where we didn’t get hosed out of a close game by a shitty call, or didn’t piss down our leg when we had a chance to win a close game against a good opponent, or actually showed up at all and didn’t get blown out when we’re fairly evenly matched.

Yeah.

If Nebraska vs Indiana is Big noon kickoff I will off myself.

I think it's inevitable.

It will be between IU at Nebraska and USC at Penn State. Maryland at Ohio State has already been selected for 2:30 or night game. UCLA also plays at Oregon. That will also be an evening or mid afternoon slot.

the following week, Ohio State at Indiana has allegedly been promised to NBC.

Penn State at Michigan will probably be the noon game that week.

Highly unlikely Fox selects Penn state two weeks in a row.

To make a long story short, looks like IU at Nebraska will be the Big Noon game.

Only Koolaid I feel like I have is Mr. Wade and his OL. For the first time in a long while I expect a little bit of a jump. Not expecting us to be awesome, but you can already see some progress.

With that said, we are coached by Rhule and just don't see anything changing.
This and until we have a top 6 B1G DL none of the rest matters as every team we play bends us over on the LOS and runs it right down our throats.

I don't know if I agree with the reasoning. Ohio St. basically played Big Noon every week last year...

Penn State v. Michigan will be Big Noon. I would bet on IU v. NU being a night game.

I've been saying this is either a shocking 9+ win season or a complete failure. If we lose that game early in the year to MSU and Indiana right after, the wheels could come off. Or we play better than expected, 5-0 going into Indiana and lose a close one.

I can't kid myself. I've drank the kool aid so many times that I'm pissing red. No reason to change this year.
