Welcome to The Platinum Board. We are a Nebraska Husker news source and fan community.
Sign Up Now!Hate to say it brother, but we're already a volleyball school.Knighton is the only one I’d be sad to see leave, but depends on who replaces them. In all honestly, we’d still be a 3 to 5 win team with the same coordinators. If Nebraska can’t beat the teams we’re supposed to, time to become a volleyball and basketball school.
He’s already on my shit list for hiring Satt in the first place. If he is retained then Rhule is dead to me.Brining back satt would signal to the fan base that Rhule values his friendship over the program and most of the fan base would turn on him pretty quickly. Not saying you're wrong but it's a good way to piss away fan support.
If those are the changes and Satterfield comes back we might as well pull all the NIL money and put it into a fund to buyout RuleBoth coordinators return, but other changes are made:

Oh I was out on him after Indiana. But even casual fans will be done at that point. Don’t think rhule knows how uncomfortable an offseason can be in Lincoln when you’ve tied your wagon to a lame duck coordinator. He’s already on my shit list for hiring Satt in the first place. Rhule is almost a dead man walking at Nebraska.
Some of yall don’t see it yet, but everyone will come around in due time to realize that he’s not the guy.
It can still be saved though.
But, if he retains satterfield. It’s over, the cancer is terminal. He’s done for and the prognosis gets moved from years to live to months to live.
At what point does self-preservation and the betterment of the program outweigh loyalty to Satt? Is keeping Satterfied even helping Satterfield? I've got to think he is one of the most miserable feeling people around.Rhule is almost a dead man walking at Nebraska.

He seems good. But people seem to really overvalue him. Don’t feel like we’ve really seen much from anyone outside TRob, Nash, Williams, and Butler.Knighton is our best position coach. I hope he stays
Expanded below, from Robin Washut:I found this interesting from the presser going on right now, according to HOL. Looks like Rhule is bringing in some outsiders to anaylize the Husker offense. I think this is a good step in the right direction. I wonder who that is going to be? Has to be someone retired to do it now during the season.
***Rhule said it's his job to "always consider everything," including potential changes on offense. He said he talked with football people outside the program to get "a fresh set of eyes" to look at what's going on. Those people will come to Lincoln this week and evaluate things in person.
He said he'd always sought outside consultation, but bringing people to campus during the season was rare. "Whatever it takes."
