Those Familiar with Omaha - need your input on an AirBnB

Anyone know if this is in an ok neighborhood? It’s described as being in walking distance to Nebraska-Omaha

Long story short, I have a cousin getting married in May in Omaha and they were only able to book a handful of rooms so I’m looking for alternatives- I think this is about a 15 min drive from the venue.

Okay, yes. Not outstanding, not horrible. Wouldn't be where I'd choose to settle down, but I'd feel safe enough staying there.

That area is fine, no reason to take any extra precautions outside of your standard safety measures when traveling if you stay there. Real close to the Aksarben area as well which had some nice options for food and drink. Also a HyVee close for shopping if you’re doing your own cooking.

this place is near Aksarben Village as the ad says, cool shopping and eats. You’ll probably just crash here but it’s fairly cheap and yes, the neighborhood is decent to good. I live further South, like 10 miles. I go to physical therapy in that area off Center right by Baxter Arena. If you have any specific questions you can DM or just ask here.

It should be a decent enough area. I had a handful of buddies in college that lived in houses in that surrounding neighborhood. It is located pretty well for the Aksarben area.

That's down in Bellevue. Not super convenient but again not terrible.

The goal should be to spend as little time in Bellevue as possible.

Not the safest, but far from anything dangerous. Worse case is don’t lock any valuables in your car overnight. Not even the safest neighborhoods are safe from car door checkers.

There’s also a garage a couple of hundred yards away that he could park in (by HDR’s HQ).

Area is safe. Lots of places to eat and drink in Aksarben.
