I feel like with a high end DC, 1-2 good DL additions and 1-2 good LB additions we could be in business. I like some of the pieces we have in place on that side of the ball.

I think our defense needs a pretty big talent infusion to be dominant, but a good DC could definitely make them serviceable.

We do have some pieces on Defense missing , but it's our offense and inept OL that's keeping this team from even being a bowl eligible team .. Until we get that fixed, nothing significant is really going to change. Need to hit a home run on this hire ( Hell . I'll settle for a triple ) and start the rebuild with the transfer portal and a very solid assistant coaching staff ..

It's pretty bad man and of course the offense is no help! Their not as good as you think..maybe to keep some games close in the West but really most these guys are garbage D1 players or walk-ons.

So many holes in this roster, especially on both sides of the trenches and the LB position. Combination of poor recruiting plus even poorer coaching and player development. Our best offensive players are all in their first season at Nebraska (Palmer, Thompson, Grant, Washington) so our coaching staff plus S&C haven't had time to screw them up.

We need a strong established coach to flip this shit show culture and staff Frost put together.
