I don't like Duke, but growing up it seemed like everyone was a North Carolina fan and it was the hip thing to hate Duke. So therefore I rooted for Duke at least when they played NC.
However, I don't own any Duke gear or that of any other college basketball team. My Dad made it very clear that we are Nebraska fans in his house and you'll enjoy the Raycom Sports telecast and Moe Iba offense.

It was sort of a joke. To me coach K is a great coach, and I also don’t see him as a saint. 99 percent of college coaches are dirty to some degree. I brought this up in another thread regarding him being pretty similar to Knight philosophy wise but Knight didn’t cheat and get the best players at the end of his career and it showed. You still need top players if you want to win championships even if you’re a great coach. I also don’t know coach K like you don’t really know him. For all I know he is actually a good guy. I find it funny how some people love or hate a guy who don’t have a clue what the guy is like in real life.

I always liked watching both teams as a kid. They definitely had by far the best rivalry going college basketball wise. Dean Smith was also one hell of a coach. Too bad dementia fucked him over.
