Kinda sad that my interest in football has waned over the last few years. Had no idea that the NFL teams had even been practicing enough to play a game. Doubt I will be watching this game but glad football is just around the corner. Go Chiefs & GBR!!!!

I've gone a little bit in the opposite direction and find myself watching and (*gasp*) cheering for other teams. I'm interpreting that as me become a bigger fan of the game itself rather than just a fan of Husker hut hut. Regardless, this sums of my feelings on basketball (NBA or college) in general:

Preseason football sucks but it is better than any other sports going on right now. Not appointment viewing for me, but I'll have it on in the background if I'm at home.

I used to be about 90% CFB fan to 10% NFL but that is now 50/50 and will likely soon switch to NFL. CFB is destroying itself with realignment, the theatrics of NIL, the transfer portal, and the Frost era.

Watched many a games on YT when I cannot sleep.

There's lots of good, random games out there.....and the more you watch, the more YT feeds ones to you that you haven't watched. I enjoy the older ones from 70's and 80's that I never got to see because they were mainly on the radio, or it was so long ago that I have a tough time remembering.
