Or more accurately it was always here, pulling the strings, calculating, deceiving…

You see the problem with 3 win seasons is that we become disinterested. The Simulation™ needed a way to get us engaged. It succeeded in a big way. A bowl game looked like a foregone conclusion, and then we even got some love as potential west division champs. Now flip the script and give us 4 cracks at a bowl game and we lose them all? Now that is pain.

Fact is this wasn't the simulation tonight. We just got beat by a better team. There were no weird as fuck turnovers or penalties. No "surprise" onside kicks or any other out of the realms of normal shit that happens in football games. Wisconsin is just better. Keep in mind that Wisconsin was without Mordecai and Allen for a lot of those losses. If either one of them doesn't play tonight I think we win.

I’d like to believe you brother, but I cannot. This has The Simulation™’s greasy fingerprints all over it.

The Nebraska way is to be completely godawful at something. Usually the worst in the FBS. We lose many games because of whatever this is (turnovers this year). When this problem is fixed/improved something else that we are good at will go to shit proportionately to the improvement of the other factor.

In tonight’s case the best tackling team we’ve had in a decade looked like they were in quicksand trying tackle Mordicunt.

Also we had 1 penalty combined in the 2 games prior to this one. We had at least 6 tonight. Just enough to secure the loss. No more, no less.

Agree to disagree on this one. Wisconsin isn't a team we have a talent advantage over and found stupid ways to lose the game...unless you want to discuss Scatterfield...He's the only simulation factor in this game. Consider what the score would have been with either of our other two options at QB. We would have been blown out. Bigly.

We had more talent at all positions on defense. QB was about even, TE about even, but Wiscy had a much better OL, WR unit, and RBs.
