I'm actually kind of shocked there isn't more involvement of law enforcement...like FBI type disposal. I figured they'd have whoever the account owner is identity by now on the instagram account and arrested.

Wife worked there for a year when she was just out of college and we live just 15 miles away, she said the cops are interviewing kids trying to figure it out, and whenever they are going to houses to try to figure it out parents are being very hostile and pisses that there’s no way their kids are involved or whatever

It's a bit of a stretch for a Swimtown annexation, but Mean Jean is probably up for it presuming they vote "R" in Thayer.


All joking aside, hope they find the asshats that made the threat and make an example of them. This shit needs to end.

I would hope the FBI and DHS are helping local law enforcement. I'm not sure where/how the threats were made, but if it was online I would assume the FBI can find the kid with ease. I can't imagine that a juvenile criminal in Thayer County is savy enough to avoid leaving a trace online.

Just tell them the kid is suspected of having walked through the Capitol Hill lobby on 1/6/21, and they'll have SWAT teams knocking down his door within hours.

Considering the threat came in Friday and they don’t have it figured out yet, I would guess it’s a little more difficult than a high school kid just creating a fake Instagram account.

They figured it out. Former student who now lives in New Mexico. Cops didn't really do shit-it was mostly the kids figuring stuff out. Instagram wouldn't release the info without a subpoena. Supposedly. Pretty scary shit when you have 3 kids in that school.
