Who has the day/week off?

I'm off today installing Christmas lights and cooking up massive amounts of mashed potatoes, green been casserole and stuffing. Also cranking out a good hour swim so I can carry-on like a 25 year old all weekend.

I realize this sounds like a BIGCL post, but starting to realize I likely have a better work ethic than he does. Anybody taking the whole week to play hooky and mess around?

Looks like I get to scoop snow again today. Went out three times yesterday to stay on top of it. Should have been out already today but I thought I'd let it warm up a bit.

Reporting 20" at Vail and 17" at the Beav in the last 24hrs if anyone is heading up in the near future.

5 hour + drive after getting off at noon today, leaving Friday morning to come back home, and then 2 hours in the opposite direction Saturday morning.
Have to figure out how to mix in an appropriate amount of drinking.

We lived in the Vail area for about 20 years then Moab for a year and half, Aspen for 2 and half, now back to Vail again. Depending on my wife's job, she works in hotel management, we may end up over there next or maybe somewhere warm like Hawaii.

Also had our weekly visit from our bear last night, how a bear knows what day trash day is I have no idea but they do. 🤣

I have a half-day today and the rest of the week off. I also took off yesterday because my wife bought me a spa day for my birthday, which was nice.

We were going to take my one-year-old daughter and her grandma to the Macy's parade, but the weather looks miserable, so we'll be watching from home this year.
