I actually think Benhart played better last night. Still wasn't great by any means but the oline held up ok in the 2nd half.

After his first series, he actually didn't play bad at all. I think he graded out pretty ok...

Lot of ok's and not bad in those two posts. Better than he sucks I guess. That first series when he gave up the sack was brutal. Not even sure he touched the guy.

I thought he was better than cochoran. It’s hard to blame either since they shouldn’t be playing at this point.

This is a half-truth: Teddy is a “true freshman from Elkhorn Nebraska”, but you left out the part where he was a top-100 recruit who’s showed pretty well in his appearances thus far.

Also, It’s not always a program indictment to start a true frosh from your home state (ie Cockeye is starting a true frosh from Cedar Rapids this year). I’m sure they would be bummed if he suffered a season ending injury.

OL recruiting hasn’t been terrible. Teddy, Jurgens, Bryce, and Turner were all highly recruited guys. If you want to complain about OL, I could see complaining about development, but even then, all the starters are pretty young guys.
