I, for one, feel terrible for the kid. First, he's going to give so many high fives he's probably going to have to ice his shoulder for a week. Second, the kids at school are going to call him names for ever. The one in Palmyra sounds like the guy would be fine if he had waited 3 more weeks.

The girl was 18 and he was 25 or26 at the time. He taught 6th grade, so he wasn’t even her teacher. School ended May 10 and according to them they stated fucking on July 18.

I take it your refering to the Palmyra case and not Boone Central (if there is a Boone Central case or maybe OP just got confused between schools).
Maybe you have additional knowledge, but it's odd that none of the coverage says he was her coach. It all just says he was a teacher at the grade school and they met at athletic events.
He probably thought he was being smart by waiting until she graduated. Heck, I've never heard of this 90 day rule until now.
