Am I the only one who thinks this holiday sucks? Not only do you not get any days off work but if you go out you are surrounded by losers who have never moved 15 minutes away from their high school, are dressed up like leprechauns, can't handle their alcohol and are usually not even Irish. Guinness beer sucks, I'm not going to drink a loaf of bread. Ruebens are meh. Overall a shit tier holiday.

(Though it's still a good time to stock up on corned beef to freeze & toss on the smoker at a later date, lol.)

St Patrick's Day has always been associated with good times for me, especially once I hit college age. It usually fell during Spring Break, often runs into the beginning of March Madness, and is associated with partying. That and I'm Irish so I did have family traditions prior to that.

Don't go to the bar for the parties anymore but yesterday was a great day of basketball, watching Kentucky and Cockeye lose, and some Black & Tans and a few green edibles.
