That’s what I’m afraid of…… the original wasn’t afraid of making fun of anyone and anything much like most comedy/spoofs of that era. That’s why I’d rather it be left alone in today’s PC climate.

That's what gives me hope, actually. Mel Brooks was always willing to make fun of people. Hopefully he hasn't lost that.
