Garrett said he had multiple people say they saw MR and his wife with their own two eyes. The University isn't going to put MR in position to be photographed by guys like you and me. And for the others, if you're important enough to be at the stadium meeting the potential next head coach, are you really gonna whip out your phone for a picture for the message boards?

The only way MR wasn't at the stadium is if a) either several people were straight up lying to Garrett about firsthand information, or 2) Garrett and the rest of the admins are lying. The problem with #1 is that people rarely lie about firsthand information, because it ruins their own credibility. The problem with #2 is that if Garrett were lying about what people on this board were telling him, or making it up entirely, he would very likely get called out on it, and would also ruin his credibility. Also, MR being at Memorial Stadium was never denied by anyone as far as I remember.

There is no doubt that some, perhaps even many, nuggets are false. However the one about MR being in Lincoln is as solid as can be without actual photos, which rarely happens unless someone screwed up.
