I’m usually very pessimistic, so this feels weird.

But…..We could very easily be 3-4. We won close games against Cincy and Maryland.

Yesterday was a complete kick in the shins, and we looked like absolute garbage.

Maybe this is just one of those games where we look back at the end of the year and say what the fuck.

That said, a lot of predictions had us at 5-2 at this point.

We have 2 straight home games. Northwestern is a tough out, as is USC.
UCLA is tough given the travel, but also they are a wild card.
Penn State is very doable. Cockeye is Cockeye.
9-3 is VERY much in play.

All of that to say, I love all of you. Let’s all place irresponsibly large wagers on games today, drink and eat to excess, indulge in drugs if that’s your bag.

If you have an OL that gives up 9 sacks to Minnesota, you are fatally flawed. Anyone can beat you. Everyone going forward is a tough out and we'll have to hope for the Rate Bowl.

Rhule was already making excuses about how young this team is. Everyone else in the big ten figured it out. I would say we look average at best but that is Minnesota and they made us look like a Division 3 school.

IF you go 6-6 how do you expect to keep this recruiting class or convince transfer portal guys to come here? I'm sure I'll be in better spirits next week but it sure does feel like the sky is falling right now.

Every coach has seen how DR plays under pressure and every coach has seen how weak our perimeter blocking is. Every defense is gonna sell out coming after DR, and unless we really figure something out quick, it’s probably gonna work.

Rhule’s first assistant staff was very poor and we still have assistants that are developing. We need assistants who have built up their coaching abilities and recruiting connections so they can execute now. We’re paying for that not a development staff.

I don’t know how you preach line play is where it starts and year three our OL and DL look like this.
