Breaking Second half deep thoughts by Big Tone

3-4 things happened in the second half. 2 of the 3 paint Rhule as a genius.

1. Big 12 officials made sure to keep the media darling from their league in the game as much as possible. Called back some huge gains/toucdowns. Didn’t call barely any holds on them that were obvious.

2. Rhule and Co called a vanilla second half for two reasons - To not show the rest of our schedule much. To keep his young QB hungry and confident. Turnovers at critical times could have crushed his confidence. Rhule is smart.

3. I do think the team let down some to start the third with the lead but they came back and finished strong.

4. Our place kicker sucks

No. I think i said after it was reported Rhule, Fickle and a few others were out that Deion was the next choice.

In hindsight I would rather have a Nebraska JV high school football coach.
