Scott Frost must be laughing his ass off right now

I think he is probably so depressed he wants to kill himself.

He was already set money wise. I bet he would give all the money back if it meant he could return to what his legacy was before he destroyed it the past few years.

I know I would.
But his actions said otherwise when he was here. He certainly didn’t put in as much effort as he should have.

I seriously doubt it.

Rewind the clocks and never come here? Stay at UCF and win 9+ games a year making 5 mil a year by now. Shit or even take the UF job.. That way if he failed he didn't become the villain at his home.

I remember an article where he said he didn't want to take this job because of what would happen if he failed.

That’s why Childress never took the head baseball gig.

Exactly what I was thinking.

the confusion some ITT have is that a lack of success (or perceived effort) doesn’t negate what I said in my post.

Frost could stay at UCF or take another job that didn’t require as much work, that was an easier job and that if they fired him he would “laugh to the bank” as others have said because he wasn’t connected to that school the way he was/is to the state of Nebraska and UNL. I mean Jesus Christ people he has a family legacy at UNL, he grew up here, he went to school here and was the last QB to win a national title here. Frost getting fired by UNL after some of the worst seasons of all time is not the same as Frost getting fired by Florida or Tennessee after a few terrible seasons.

Not to mention he could just stay at UCF and win bigly and still party and golf all the time. Low stress job you can succeed at hangover vs. high stress job nobody has been able to succeed at since 1997.

For sure UCF. Article said he went and got a post game sandwich once in Orlando and no one knew who he was. For sure should have stayed, that sounds great.

Realistically they probably make the playoff in 2018 assuming their streak continues

Frost is rumored to be a potential assistant at ASU. That would be perfect for him.

I cannot see the guy leading a P5 team ever again. He looked uncomfortable and out of place in that role in Lincoln and was painful to watch him on the podium. He's good at tactical football and working under someone else's leadership.

Maybe he's a HC in group of 5 level again, but if I'm Scott I take a backseat for a while and evaluate why he failed and if he wants to be the head guy again.

According to one of his wife’s friends they were a mess after the firing. Scott was in a very low place. Understandable but still, I don’t think he’s laughing. I think he’s ashamed

A few weeks ago, he was in the running for the OC job at Cal as well. I’m sure he’ll get a P5 job again in time if he learned his lesson at Nebraska. You see it all the time in the NFL with HC being recycled. Plus if Hugh Freeze can get a P5 job again, I’m sure Frost can as well as he matures.

Idk if that would be a good spot for him to OC. He historically has a hard time scoring points in Tempe…
